As a new high-tech enterprise and enterprise technical center in Shanghai, Shanghai East Pump (Group) Co, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") has established Hydraulic R&D Office, Standardization Office, Process Department, Network Technology Department and 7 product R&D technology departments engaged in different industrial orientations. The Company has almost 200 technicians of different trades.
The Company devotes itself into R&D of pumps and relevant products and pays much attention to the research on operation and management technique of products, in order to provide the advanced and excellent products and services for customers. In R & D process,technicians design the hydraulic parts using the advanced ternary design theory, carry out numerical simulation analysis on performance through CFD computational fluid mechanics,accelerate product R&D through laser rapid prototyping, check the conformity of models and parts through three dimensional construction technology, and improve the product reliability through modular theory and virtual technology to verify the products through the nationally calibrated high-precision testing system.
Moreover, the Company's colleagues have established multilevel technical cooperation with different institutions and colleges and universities, including Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Chinese Academy of Sciences, in order to absorb and pay attention to the advanced techniques at home and abroad with the help of industry-university-research platform.
As a patent demonstration enterprise in Shanghai, the Company declares dozens of proprietary techniques each year and has owned over 350 patents by now, including 10 patents for invention. The Company's DFSS double suction split case pumps are awarded "national key and new products", while the WQ submersible sewage pumps and ZQ submersible axial-flow pump are the new patented products.
